For digital and social engagement, MSLGROUP help companies to leverage social and digital to build and strengthen brands, engage with stakeholders and manage reputation. Our digital and social strategists are embedded into account teams - for MSLGROUP, digital and social is not an 'add on', but an integral part of our offering. Examples of work for our clients include Community Management, Strategy, Positioning and Big Idea Conception, Research and Insights, Crisis Management, Online Listening and Metrics, IRM (Influencer Relationship Management), Mobile Application and Online Gaming Development and Visual Content Production (video, web, etc).

For MSLGROUP, our leadership in social and digital is built on both global and local excellence, and our focus on this area is absolute. This past year, we appointed our first-ever global practice director, Stephanie Agresta, to manage and ensure our leadership and progress across the globe. In December 2013, we announced our regional practice leader for social and digital for Asia. In addition to this, we have put in place some of the best social and digital talent available across the 22 countries where MSLGROUP have a presence.

Under one, strong MSLGROUP brand, our strategy for gaining expertise and scale in social and digital is to combine significant organic investments with acquisitions of best-in-class agencies within social and digital. Recently acquired firms which are contributing to MSLGROUP's strengths in social and digital in mainland China are: Genedigi, Eastwei and King Harvests. Recent acquisitions globally and in Asia which add to MSLGROUP's strong position within social and digital media include; Espalhe in Brazil, 20:20 Social in India and ICL in Taiwan. All these agencies are today part of MSLGROUP. In addition to these acquisitions, we continue to evaluate agencies with significant strength within social and digital that can add to our industry-leading capabilities and services.

Our current strengths and capabilities are shown primarily through our groundbreaking and successful work for our clients within social and digital, but also in some of our innovations within this area.

In November 2013, MSLGROUP developed a global study titled The Social Wisdom of Wired Women around the World in cooperation with Randi Zuckerberg, founder / CEO of Zuckerberg Media and former marketing executive of Facebook. The study highlights how wired women in China, US, UK and Brazil use, and relate to, new technology and social media. We are thrilled to be launching the Chinese version of the global study in January 2014 in Shanghai, China.

While wired women globally are ambivalent when it comes to the value of connected technology in their lives – they value its benefits, while also being frustrated by it – wired women in China are embracing technology and social media to a greater degree than like-minded women in other markets studied, and are less concerned with the draw backs. There is a deeper connection between Chinese wired women and their devices than their counterparts in the other markets.
